Slow Down Aging Process

Beauty was always considered as a crucial factor, even in Antic times. People in Antic Greece had a belief, that their beauty is blessing from God’s and that their external beauty has to match internal.

You can’t stop aging process, but following a few basic steps it can be slowed down.

  • Protect your skin from the sun

Whether spending a day at the beach or running errands, sun protection is essential. Before going out use skincare with UV protection, even if possible choose powder with same effects(But be careful of flashback effects which can be caused by foundations, concealers and tinted moisturizers containing SPF as well as setting powders containing silica. SPF’s are designed to reflect the sun’s rays, unfortunately, that means they also reflect the camera’s flash and causes ghostly appearance).

Silk, as one of the main properties in Sericin + skincare products is providing natural protection from damaging UV rays. Also, it protects the skin from environmental stresses, assists in collagen production and regeneration of skin cells and provides some antibacterial defense level.

Sericin+ Ageless Future Collection (Enriched with Silk Protein Sericin) is designed to assist in minimizing visible signs of premature aging such as lines and wrinkles. Sericin+ Ageless Future Collection is comprised of Ageless Cream, Serum, and Thermal Mask.

  • Apply self-tanner rather than get a tan

A solarium is any tanning unit that uses UV radiation to tan the skin. There is no such thing as a safe tan, because it increases your risk of developing skin cancer. Also there are negative effects such as eye damage and immediate skin damage – sunburn, irritation, redness and swelling. A solarium tan does not provide your skin with sun protection, so your skin is still prone to damage when outdoors, exposed to the sun’s natural UV radiation.

  • Avoid repetitive facial expressions

Regularly making certain facial expressions can cause wrinkles, so controlling those expressions can prevent them from appearing. When you make those movements, you contract the underlying muscles. If you repeatedly contract the same muscles for many years, these lines become permanent. Wearing sunglasses can help reduce lines caused by squinting.

  • Stop smoking

If you need another reason to motivate you to quit smoking, add premature wrinkles to the list. Smoking can speed up the normal aging process of your skin, contributing to wrinkles. These skin changes may occur after only 10 years of smoking. The more cigarettes you smoke and the longer, the more skin wrinkling you’re likely to have.

  • Get enough sleep

Sleep continues to be something that most of us don’t get enough of. In this environment, most of us have underestimated the negative effects that a lack of plentiful sleep has, not just on our general health, but on our skin as well. Also, stress, anger and holding onto grudges can be very damaging. If you work to reduce your stress levels now, you’ll thank yourself later. Incorporate meditation or journaling into your day-to-day and give yourself a break.
